A community project working with a range of age groups across Leigh town centre, sharing creative skills and idea to develop a woolly trail for all to enjoy at a local neighbourhood celebration. 
Crocheted granny squares and vibrant pom-poms were chosen as the community's favourite woolly feature to decorate the town.

Tree Cozy at Jubilee Gardens - 2012
Tree Cozy at Jubilee Gardens - 2012

A community inclusive project for the community of Crewe town centre, commissioned by Cheshire East Council. 
The outcome of this project was 24 tree cozies around the town centre, created in collaboration with the Senior Citizens group and a number of Primary school children from the Crewe area.

GAIA Project - 2008
GAIA Project - 2008

A project to bring awareness to the Liverpool City Centre about the amount of discarded waste, namely plastic carrier bags, along the streets of the city centre. This was commissioned for the GAIA Project, as part of the Liverpool Independents Biennial 2008.

SHED Jumper Project - 2008
SHED Jumper Project - 2008

One of ArtYarn's very first community projects, the SHED jumper was commissioned by Pool Arts Manchester and involved teaching the local community how to knit and crochet to cover the SHED Gallery in a woolly cover for the winter months while the gallery was closed.

A community lead project to create an installation project at the site of the Weavers Triangle, for the Dark Satanics event 2011. In collaboration with Mid Pennine Arts and commissioned by Burnley Council.
