Private and small group tuition.

The School of Knitting and Crochet teaches hand knitting and crochet at every level, and specialises in teaching absolute beginners. Sessions are currently run on a 1-2-1 or small group basis.
I currently teach in the following areas:
Calderdale (West Yorks) and Greater Manchester.

Tutor Rachael Elwell has over have over 10 years professional experience teaching all levels of knitting and crochet to people of all ages. She has previously worked for Manchester's Ministry of Craft and taught in schools, art galleries and museums.
During taught sessions, students will learn at their own pace with careful guidance from the tutor,  and once the basics have been learned, students are able pursue techniques and skills in their own areas of interest and start working on projects from an early stage. A suitable venue can be arranged on booking.  Many students enjoy having lessons in their own home.

Tuition and workshops can also be booked for community events and social occasions.
